HÖRMANN Group publishes half-year report 2023

HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bonds, WKN: A2TSCH and A351U9) today published its financial results for the first half of 2023. In the first six months, the HÖRMANN Group generated revenue of € 372.5 million, a significant increase of € 74.0 million compared to the same period of the previous year (€ 298.5 million). In the reporting period, the Group benefited from the noticeable recovery in the commercial vehicle industry and inflation-related price increases. The first half of 2022 was impacted by the outbreak of war in Ukraine and the associated supply bottlenecks and production interruptions. As a result of the stabilized business situation, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) also improved significantly in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from € 6.4 million to € 15.1 million and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) from € 0.5 million to € 9.2 million.

The HÖRMANN Group has successfully placed its new corporate bond with a total volume of € 50 million.

Technology specialist HÖRMANN Industries GmbH is broadly diversified with four business divisions (Automotive, Communication, Intralogistics and Engineering) and more than 30 subsidiaries. In the 2022 financial year, HÖRMANN Industries generated consolidated sales revenues of around EUR 686 million and employed approx. 2,876 employees. EBITDA amounted to EUR 35.3 million, while operating EBIT came in at EUR 23.7 million.
