HÖRMANN Group publishes half-year report 2022

HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, WKN: A2TSCH) today published its financial results for the first six months of 2022. At € 298.5 million, the Group's revenue in the reporting period was on a par with the first half of 2021 (previous year: € 296.3 million). However, this figure includes around € 18 million in material price increases in the Automotive division that were passed on with no effect on earnings; accordingly, value-added sales in the first six months of 2022 were lower than in the previous year. The decline in sales was mainly due to the Automotive and Intralogistics divisions, which were impacted by the effects of the Ukraine conflict and the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the associated delivery bottlenecks and project delays in the first half of 2022.

HÖRMANN Rawema demonstrates test workshop for Industry 4.0

HÖRMANN Rawema GmbH, a HÖRMANN Group company, created a development location almost two years ago with its showroom, a test workshop for Industry 4.0 in Chemnitz. The test workshop allows the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0 to be formulated, demonstrated and analysed. At the request of the curator of the MaschinenBoom exhibition, an additional experience has been created as part of these activities: “Depicting and optimising material flow systems is one of the key tasks of factory planning. With our digital factory planning table, we have created a cyber-physical system that allows users to experience the systems intuitively,” says innovation manager Benjamin Bielefeld, Head of Research & Development at HÖRMANN Rawema.

HÖRMANN Industries financial results

HÖRMANN Industries publishes financial results for the first quarter of 2022

HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, WKN: A2TSCH) today published its financial results for the first three months of 2022. In the reporting period, the Group's sales decreased year-on-year from EUR 138.2 million to EUR 127.0 million. The decline in sales mainly resulted from the Automotive division, which was impacted in the first quarter of 2022 by the effects of the war in Ukraine as well as the COVID-19 pandemic and related supply shortages of electronic components. As a result of a lack of cable harnesses from Ukraine, the plants in Gustavsburg and Banovce, Slovakia, which focus on truck components, had to sharply reduce their production as customers of the HÖRMANN Group had to cease production. Overall, sales in the Automotive division fell by EUR 8.6 million compared with the same period of the previous year, from EUR 88.6 million to EUR 80.0 million. In contrast, the Communicatio division got off to a good start in the new 2022 financial year after a very good year in 2021 and achieved sales of EUR 35.0 million (previous year: EUR 34.1 million).

HÖRMANN Industries publishes annual financial statements for 2021

HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, WKN: A2TSCH) today published its 2021 annual financial statements. In the 2021 financial year, the HÖRMANN Group generated sales of EUR 589.8 million (previous year: EUR 521.5 million). The increase in sales was essentially attributable to the Automotive and Communication divisions, whereas the Engineering division fell short of the prior year levels, as expected. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) improved noticeably to EUR 45.3 million (previous year: EUR 25.5 million), while earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also picked up to EUR 30.0 million (previous year: EUR 12.6 million). Adjusted for write-downs for impairment, EBIT stood at EUR 33.5 million. The HÖRMANN Group’s result thus was above the pre-crisis level in the reporting period, with the profit margin reaching the highest level in the company’s recent history.
